CJ is a member of Woodbridge’s Due Diligence/Underwriting team of financial professionals. He works closely with clients in order to ensure prospective buyers are presented with accurate and reliable financial information. CJ joins Woodbridge from The Walt Disney Company where he served as part of the Disney/ESPN Media Networks Business Strategy team. While there, he assisted in and drove decisions for content distribution deals by creating sales proposals, financial analyses and management presentations for new and on-going distribution negotiations. Prior to his role in Business Strategy, as part of ESPN’s International Accounting team CJ led the consolidation, reporting and financial analysis of all ESPN business in EMEA and Asia Pacific as well as all international joint ventures. CJ began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he audited a variety of public and private clients, aided companies through transitional phases (mergers, divestitures, etc.) and communicated audit results to executive and board leadership. CJ holds a Masters degree in Accounting from Fairfield University and received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Bentley University.
Over a 20+ year career Mitch helped create multi-channel campaigns and marketing efforts for brands such as: Samsung, Crocs, Oxford Health Plans, Weizmann Institute of Science, Citibank, Soles United, Wellesley College, American Express and Diet Coke, to name a few. Mitch has a keen ability to quickly and quietly locate the heart of a brand and then rip it out of its chest for the world to see.
Kyle oversees Woodbridge’s underwriting process (due diligence), a component of every sell-side transaction. Clients benefit from Kyle’s comprehensive background in financial consulting for private equity and closely-held businesses. Prior to joining Woodbridge, Kyle served as a manager at CohnReznick, LLP, a leading U.S. accounting and advisory firm. In this role, Kyle specialized in transactional due diligence and litigation support services, including investigative/forensic accounting and valuation services. Kyle is a member of the CT Turnaround Management Association. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds an Accredited in Business Valuation Designation (ABV), and earned his Accounting degree from University of Connecticut.
Prior to joining Woodbridge, Greg has spent the last 14 years advising senior executives and business owners. Most recently, he worked for Vistage International where he worked with top professionals to provide leadership training and consulting services to CEOs and business owners looking to address strategic challenges, grow their revenues or develop succession or exit plans. Prior to that he spent several years as a private banker and advisor to family offices and executives and board members of public and private companies and ran a brokerage team representing sellers and buyers in industrial, commercial and multifamily property transactions. He is a graduate of Washington & Lee University, majoring in Economics with additional studies in Corporate Finance.
Elias has two decades of experience advising business owners of privately-held companies on how to prepare for the sale of their company. Prior to joining Woodbridge, Elias held various consulting positions with Citigroup Capital Markets and Emerge M&A Inc. In addition, he spent four years in the aerospace industry with Rockwell International. An entrepreneur in his own right, Elias founded and grew three successful companies associated with real estate, mortgage and funding of commercial projects. He attended the University of Nevada where he studied Business and Psychology.
Matt is the administrator of Woodbridge’s Salesforce system and coordinates the launching of Woodbridge client marketing campaigns. In addition, he is responsible for the upkeep of our website. Prior to joining to Woodbridge, Matt worked for several major retailers in key sales and marketing roles, most recently as Department Head at Hobby Lobby. He is also a minister, holding an M.Div. from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA.
Andrew J. Buchholtz has served as a banker, consultant and operator in the media industry for nearly 25 years. Originally a consultant to magazine publishers and direct marketers at J.S. Eliezer Associates in New York City, he joined Veronis Suhler Stevenson in 1995 and spent ten years buying and selling media properties as a mergers & acquisitions advisor.
Included among the dozens of transactions he has executed, Andrew sold Fast Company Magazine for the Zuckerman Group to Gruner + Jahr (USA), sold White Directory Publishers to the Hearst Corporation, sold Clipper Magazine to Ganett, Inc. and sold Highline Media to Summit Business Media. Sectors in which he has completed assignments include marketing agencies, digital video content, tradeshows, stock photography, education, b2b media, local media, newspapers, consumer publishing, e-commerce, information and cable.
Additionally, Andrew owned Partnership interests in Veronis Suhler Communications Partners II and Veronis Suhler Communications Partners III, the Veronis Suhler Stevenson private equity affiliates. From 2006 through 2008, Andrew served as Managing Director in the BMO Capital Markets Media, Communications & Technology Group where he provided both debt and equity products to media industry clients and later as Managing Director, Head of Media & Entertainment at B. Riley. He earned an MBA in Management from Boston University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, magna cum laude, also from Boston University.
Simon joined Woodbridge International as part of our Business development team. He has since progressed to establish and manage our 1st African office based out of Cape Town, South African. Prior to joining Woodbridge Simon has many years of experience in Hospitality and co-founded a company focused on the production, brand development and export of wine. At Woodbridge, Simon is responsible for operations through Business development and Marketing in North America, Europe & Africa. Simon brings 13 years of marketing experience to Woodbridge and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa and has completed studies in Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship.
Since 2004, Marni has brought over 20 years of experience as a financial professional overseeing the organization’s research and IT initiatives. The complexities of growing the firm, its strategic and operational solutions and what it takes to get it done leverage her diverse talents. Before joining Woodbridge, she was IT Project Manager for the Marketing/Finance team at Pitney Bowes. Along with a business degree with specialization in Management Information Systems from Western Connecticut State University, Marni brings tremendous experience, leadership, and knowledge to her clients and influences the culture that makes Woodbridge unique.
As Senior Managing Partner, Bob works closely with Woodbridge’s investment bankers to ensure the successful completion of all transactions and deliver a high level of client service. Bob has worked on over 200 M&A mandates in distribution, manufacturing, business services and IT, including many complex cross-border transactions. Prior to joining Woodbridge in 2005, Bob was a founding principal of Elite Investment Group, an investment banking firm serving middle-market private companies, mainly in the business services sector. Earlier in his career, Bob was senior vice president at Butler International, Inc., a $450 million outsourcing company, where he spent over nine years in a variety of key management roles. While at Butler, Bob was responsible for all acquisitions, divestitures, strategic planning and other corporate development activities. Bob started his career at Ernst & Young where he earned his CPA designation. Bob is a graduate of SUNY Albany.
